Obstetric Shared Care arrangements can be provided for most pregnant women. However if you have a pre-existing medical condition or a history of previous pregnancy complications or recurrent miscarriages, you may not be eligible and you should discuss your options with your GP or Midwife Coordinator.

While all women hope for a normal pregnancy, there is always a chance of problems happening in pregnancy - for the mother, baby or for both of you. If complications arise during your pregnancy you may need to be referred to the hospital for specialised care.
